Join AAPI Coloradans and local reporters in a conversation about working together to improve local news coverage.

About this event

Join Asian Avenue Magazine's Annie Guo VanDan, Asian Chamber of Commerce's Frances Campbell, Dragon Boat Festival's Sara Moore, CORE's Joie Ha, New Hope Network's Gil Asakawa and other AAPI community leaders and journalists for a conversation about what local news media can do to improve access to trustworthy news and information that accurately reflects the lives of Asian Coloradans.

We will review recommendations from Asian, Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian Coloradans to improve news coverage and community relationships. This work is part of AAPI Voices — a project of the Colorado News Collaborative (COLab) and Colorado Media Project's (CMP) Voices Initiative.
