It will take place at the Oklahoma History Center on Tuesday, May 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

♦The event will start with a book signing by Amy M. Le, the award-winning author of the Snow trilogy and founder of Quill Hawk Publishing. This Asian American company helps writers publish their books while amplifying diverse voices through storytelling.

♦ Ban Nguyen is the keynote luncheon speaker. He is of Vietnamese heritage, an operating partner of Jimmy’s Egg and Riviere Modern Bánh Mì restaurants, and a founding OHS Multicultural Office Board incorporator.

♦ Ba Luong (Chinese/Vietnamese), Larry Li (Taiwanese/Chinese), Dr. Murali Krishna (India), and Denise Duong (Vietnamese American) will be honored at the event for their contributions to the AAPI community in Oklahoma. Dr. Chin Do Kham (Myanmar) will be honored posthumously.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
