AAH Photowalk Series: The Assignment

Taking inspiration from books such as the Photographers Playbook, Photo No Nos and Draw It with Your Eyes Closed, this month’s photowalk will encourage us to step out of our usual ways of seeing and try new approaches to picture making as we work within a set of rules and parameters.

Participants will be given a prompt at random to work from, then embark on an hour long self-guided walk around the museum grounds and nearby streets. Potential prompt example, “your photographs must all contain the color blue.” We will reconvene back at the museum to discuss our experience and examine the results.

As always, Polaroids are encouraged! Bring you own or rent one from us!
