AAG2016

The Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication is an extensive research initiative that combines the disciplines of robotics, material science, computer science, engineering, and architecture. Its long-term mission is to develop new technologies and methods that advance the implementation of digital fabrication in the practices of architecture and construction. The NCCR Digital Fabrication conducts research, teaching, and develops inter-disciplinary projects with strong mandate for collaboration and knowledge transfer with industry. Launched in 2014, it currently encompasses research groups at its home institution ETH Zurich and at EPF Lausanne.

<P>Advances in Architectural Geometry (AAG) is a bi-annual symposium addressing the community of computer scientists, mathematicians, engineers and architects. It aims to connect academia and industry through presentations and discussions of innovation in geometric and computational applications in architecture.</P>
