AABJ WRITING WORKSHOP

Recognizing the lack of minority journalists in local television, radio and print, a group of black reporters and photographers formed the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists in the fall of 1976.Thegroup’s purpose is to collectively use its strength to push diversity in mainstream media.

Join AABJ's WRITING WORKSHOP and get tips on how to make your copy sing! 
Stay relevant across platforms and newsrooms.
Get one-on-one critiques from writers and copy editors in television, print and digital.
Must bring laptop or tablet to write a news story.
Optional: Bring previous writing sample for critique.
Registration starts at 12pm
Workshop starts promptly at 12:30pm
