Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis Community Emergency Response Team, Inc. (AAACERT) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Our mission is to providecitizens withemergency and disaster response, safety and disaster preparedness education and training toincrease community-wide readiness and response capabilities in direct support of local, stateand national emergency response initiatives.We are affiliated with theAnne Arundel County Office of Emergency Managmentand theCity of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management.

CERT Basic training consists of 20 hours of training including a mass casualty exercise.
The purpose of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic training is to provide you with basic skills necessary to respond to your community’s immediate needs in the aftermath of a disaster, when emergency services are not immediately available. By working together, CERT members can assist in saving lives and protecting property using the basic techniques in this course. The target audience for this course is individuals who desire the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and respond to a disaster. 
Schedule:
Friday, March 31: 6pm-9pm 
Saturday, April 1: 8am-5pm 
Sunday, April 2: 8am-3pm 
Saturday, April 8: 8am-1pm (final exercise)

Course Review, Final Exam, and Disaster Simulation
Basic Plus (additional classes) will be announced in the near future.
You must complete all units in order to receive your Certificate of Completion.
