This is for everyone who wants public relations success.This academy will cover essential skills and strategies needed to build relationships and partnerships with stakeholders both in the district and in the community. The program will include communication style development, refinement of the oral and written word, dealing with the media and networking. Self-assessment of the participant’s existing communication style will be a springboard into the development of a plan for improvement. Referendum strategies will be discussed that interface with the skills being taught. At the end of the program participants will develop a public relations and communications plan.
