About this event

International trade is an integral part of the U.S. economy and the daily lives of all Americans. Join us to explore a series of lessons that use active learning strategies to bring fundamental economic concepts and international trade to life for students in Grades 6-8. We will demonstrate how to adapt this curriculum unit from the economics education experts at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for hybrid instructional models. Attendees will receive a meal on us (via Grubhub), digital resources, and a certificate of professional development.

Organized by

The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.
