A Very Unique Networking Event

A unique networking event hosted by Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland and CFG Bank in partnership with MD MEP, MD Department of Commerce, I95 Business, Magma Build Studios and Guilford Hall Brewery with added support from Sandy Spring Bank and Corsica Technologies.

JUST ANNOUNCED: The Brewery crew decided to add live music to the evening, so the fun can continue beyond 7 PM. The band, Ursala Ricks, will begin at 7 PM. Born in Baltimore and raised in Texas, Ursula's music takes you on a journey through a life of Funk/Soul/ and Neo-Blues. There is no extra charge to stay to listen to the band.

Mingle with Maryland manufacturers and industry stakeholders in this European-style brewery. Meet and hear from some of the masterful manufacturers whose technical and artistic skills can be seen throughout the design of the brewery, as well as others whose work is worthy of being classified as ART. Enjoy tasting some of this Baltimore-based brewery’s hand-crafted lagers and ales.

Participating manufacturers who will be displaying their artistic works (click name below to be taken to each company's website):

• Magma Build Studios: Combining technical and artistic skills into one shop. We’re metalsmiths, blacksmiths, woodworkers, CAD designers, glass blowers, and other creative people who don’t fit a specific title.
• Direct Dimensions: The world's leading authority on the application of geometric measurement technology. Years of experience in data measurement, inspection, and reverse engineering deliver the expertise you can trust to digitally "clone" your 3D product with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• KNAS Music: Designs and produces electric instruments. The instruments have been used by some of the biggest names in the music industry globally over the past 20+ years. Not only does the founder/owner design and build every aspect of his electric instruments from the circuit boards to the exterior metal boxes himself, he often also builds his own CNC machines to help produce his products all here in Baltimore.
• Paradise Labs: With a combined 30 years of experience in fabrication and design, Paradise Labs has branched out beyond fine art into a variety of other creative fields including medical simulation, product development and live exhibit work.
• Valley Craftsmen: Combining the best of decorative art and craftsmanship, their services combine color, design, and special finish solutions with artful fabrication and execution.

Must be 21 to attend. Limited to 200 attendees. Candidates currently running for statewide offices are being invited.

$20 pp – includes lite-fare hors d’oeuvres, non-alcoholic beverages and two tickets for two beers and/or wines or 1 mixed drink. (Additional food and alcohol is available for purchase.)
