A Spirited Seance

Built in 1850 and expanded and refurbished throughout its time as a private residence, the Glen Foerd mansion is currently home to an array of historic domestic artifacts, American and European art, and contemporary art installations.Glen Foerd is a Philadelphia oasis situated at the confluence of the Delaware River and Poquessing Creek. The public is welcome to enjoy the grounds and spectacular river views.

Glen Foerd On the Delaware

Glen Foerd on the Delaware has teamed up with improvisational group that brought you last year’s live game of Clue, Bright Invention, to create an original interactive mystery theatre production featuring spirited ghosts in the rooms of this magnificent Gilded Age mansion. Glen Foerd will host four interactive performances of A Spirited Seance, in which guests will search through six rooms and question the cast of ghosts for the information they need to release them from the mansion walls. But guests should be aware: the ghosts are mischievous and do not want to leave!Guests are welcomed with music and cocktails (cash bar) in the Drawing Room upon arrival. This is a unique opportunity to explore the Glen Foerd mansion as never before! The event is for all ages but a cash bar will be available to those 21+ with ID.Performances will be held at 6 pm and 8 pm on Sunday, Oct. 27.
