Join Jamie of Mossy Hymns and Chandra of Mendo Mindset for a special 3 hour restorative experience of sound healing and breathwork nestled in a magical location - The Brambles located in Mendocino, CA! Surrounded by the calming energy of a redwood forest, this intimate offering will guide you to release tension, balance the nervous system and clear the mind.

Our afternoon together begins with a grounding tea circle under a redwood grove, where we will slowly sip a special herbal tea blend prepared by Jamie, to settle into the experience and connect with one another through an Authentic Relating practice. Next, Chandra will teach us how to tune into the healing powers of our breath, through a potent guided breath practice that will regulate, soothe and balance our bodies on a cellular level. You will then lay back and rest as Jamie guides a sound journey, combining her magical ethereal singing with the healing vibrations of crystal bowls, ocean waves and chimes. This sonic experience is a heartfelt journey to awaken the creative spark within and release you into deep rest. We will close our experience together with gentle reflection and nourishing light snacks.

Breath as a healing tool: With practice, breath can be controlled - allowing us to utilize it as a calming tool during times of stress. Breathing also directly affects how much oxygen our cells are getting - when we deepen and slow down the breath from its usual shallow pattern, we allow more oxygen to enter each cell, which boosts and fortifies our immune system. Deep conscious breathing also diverts health problems associated with chronic stress, helps reduce blood pressure and supports cathartic release of stress and trauma.

Sound is medicine: The sound frequencies emitted in a sound bath slow down our breath, heart rate and brainwaves to a restorative state which activates the body’s self-healing mechanisms. Here, your mind recalibrates, and your body feels safe to release tension and relax, leading to increased clarity and perspective shifts.
