This seminar will provide an overview of how The Grief Support Team at Heritage Christian Services cares for people with IDD and their needs that arise through the grieving process. The Grief Support Team is comprised of Behavior Intervention Specialists, Creative Arts Therapists, Faith Community Inclusion Specialists and Speech Language Pathologists. As the group evolves, we’re discovering that the universal need for grief support exists throughout the entire organization. The key components of this seminar are navigating grief for yourself and how you support others in their grief.
