As a volunteer EMT at Exchange Ambulance of the Islips, Heather selflessly answered the call for help countless times, providing care and compassion to those in need. With her father, mother, and sister all serving as volunteers at Islip Terrace Fire Department, their family embodies the spirit of courage and sacrifice.
On June 1, 2024 the emergency services family mourned the loss of Heather, a young woman of only 23, who bravely confronted a devastating illness. The McNamara family is now facing significant financial strain during this difficult time.
