About this event

It’s 2020: The Importance of Understanding and Acting Upon ESG, Climate and Geopolitical Risks

With the ever-growing challenges and opportunities of the 21st century, including trade and the Sustainable Development Goals, it is essential for boards and senior leadership to be fit for the future – and that means understanding and acting upon ESG, climate and geopolitical risks.

The panel will discuss why competent modern leadership is of growing importance. You will also hear views from the global Chairman of Siemens and Maersk, the Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, and other European leaders.

This event is hosted by Competent Boards in collaboration with the EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada and the Danish Canadian Chamber of Commerce and with the generous support of Baker McKenzie.
