We’re your dedicated team of dreamers and doers, buzz builders and business boomers and overall urban advocates who are leading the thrilling rise of Downtown Tempe. Since 1993, the award-winning Downtown Tempe Authority has been the private, non-profit organization that works in partnership with the City of Tempe to increase the value of Downtown Tempe through enhanced management, safety, marketing and promotional services on behalf of DTA members and other downtown stakeholders.

Thank you for joining the A Mountain Challenge! 

You will receive email reminders to log your climbs, as well as, the dates and locations to claim your shirt and prizes. Starting April 1st, each time you climb A Mountain please log your climbs so you can receive the milestone prizes

Join the A Mountain Challenge! The A Mountain Challenge is a two month hiking, walking or running challenge taking place April 1 – May 31, 2021. Participants complete the challenge on their own schedule by May 31, 2021. Registration includes a high quality shirt along with prizes as you reach various climbing milestones. The more you climb, the more prizes you can win! Registration will be open until May 15th, but the deadline to complete the challenge is May 31st. The sooner you register the more time you have to complete the challenge. Once registered, participants will be emailed a link to log their climbs up A Mountain. Prizes will be distributed from various Downtown Merchants throughout the challenge. Stay healthy, stay safe and climb our downtown Mountain!
