A Measure of A Man Fishing Derby is open to all men and their children ages 8-17. We will have food, fun, and prizes! Fishing equipment, tackle, and bait will be provided. All children will be required to wear a life jacket when on the pier.

Do I need to a have fishing license?

No! June 8th is a free fishing day in Maryland.

Do I need to bring my own fishing gear and tackle?

Only if you choose to. Fishing gear and tackle will be available for use.

Is there a cost for children?

Great News! There is no cost for children. Children must be at least 8 yrs old to participate.

Do I need to present to win a prize?

Yes, you must be present to win a prize.

Can my wife or girlfriend come and watch the derby?

Unfortunately not. This is men's only event.
