Getaway Packages are SOLD OUT but reservations are NOT required to enjoy all the fun of Potter Palooza. Stop by the Visitor Center at 205 W. Main Street to pick up a map and list of activities, events, and specials available at various locations in downtown Lancaster.

Let the city of Lancaster cast its spell on you during this Magical Getaway! 
In conjunction with the Fairfield County District Library's community-wide celebration of 20 years of Harry Potter, this two-day getaway has plenty of fun activities for wizards and muggles of all ages!  The magic begins when you stop in the Visit Fairfield County Visitors Center (205 W. Main St.).  Pick up your Goodie Bag and Marauder’s Map before setting out on your adventure.
Be sure to arrive at the Library (219 N. Broad St.) by 2pm on Friday so you can show off your wizarding gear in the costume contest!  Then parade over to the Downtown Bandstand at 3pm for a concert by the Wizard Rock Band Tonks & the Aurors!  Consult your Marauder’s Map to find even more sorcerrific fun, food, and activities in Downtown Lancaster.  Then enjoy a comfortable night at the Holiday Inn Express, Baymont Inn Suites, or wave your wand at locally owned restaurants, pubs, and taverns for dinner and live music downtown.
Start your Saturday with continental breakfast at your hotel before you head out for another magical day!  First up is a Quidditch Demonstration at Rising Park (203 E. Fair Ave.) at 10am.  Members of the Quidditch Club will introduce the basics of the ultimate wizarding sport, adapted for Muggles.  Then head over to the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio (145 E. Main St.) for a Hogwarts Herbology class, where you will create and tend to your very own magical mandrake plant to take home and watch grow!  Visit Ollivander's Wand Shop at the First Presbyterian Church (222 N. Broad St.) from 1pm–4pm on Saturday to craft your own wand -- that indispensable back to school supply! One per person while supplies last!
