About this event

The Irish Georgian Society, Inc. is happy to announce the Irish Country House Garden Lecture Series.

As a prelude to two garden exhibitions the Irish Georgian Society is launching in September 2021, we invite you to join us for the second series of lectures about the Irish Country House Garden, which will be broadcast via Zoom beginning on Friday, May 28th.

The five lectures in this series feature experts on Irish gardens talking about the evolution of gardens over the course of the last three hundred years. This series of talks will culminate in an Exhibition on the History of the Irish Country House Garden to open at the City Assembly House on September 23, 2021 with a tour of houses and gardens to follow.

The lecture series is brought to you by the Irish Georgian Society and is proudly sponsored by Hindman, a leading fine art auction house with showrooms across the country.
