On Tuesday, May 21st at 5:30 - 7:30 PM, we'll be gathering again to celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month at BITES Asian Kitchen & Bar in Lakeview for Asian-inspired tapas and tropical drinks.

Join us for a happy hour to get together and give back with great food, drinks, prizes, swag, and friends! A portion of drink purchases will be going towards A Just Chi (AJC) Giving Project to raise money for Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago.

Merchandise and raffle tickets will also be sold during the event!

Our COVID protocol is as follows:

  • Masks are encouraged for all attendees when not eating or drinking.
  • Masks will be available at sign-in.
  • Testing for COVID within 24 hours before the event is recommended.
  • Please stay home if you test positive or are exhibiting symptoms.
  • Event will be held both indoors and in the outdoor covered patio.

AJC Giving is a fundraising project led by community leaders from A Just Chi base. The project aims to enhance our community leaders' ownership of the base they are part of while raising awareness about the issue areas they care about and work on. All proceeds from the AJC Giving Project will go towards supporting A Just Chi, a base-building program led by Advancing Justice | Chicago, where Asian and Asian Americans can learn about the knowledge and skills necessary to be informed, strategic leaders and active participants in community organizing and issue campaigns.
