Question 1

What actually happens in the two hours?

Accepted Answer

A mix of explanation and experience. I'll talk you through why your nervous system gets stuck in 'on' mode, give you something practical to take away, and guide you through some restorative moments so you feel the shift rather than just hear about it.

Question 2

What is Reiki, and do I have to take part if I don't fancy it?

Accepted Answer

Reiki is one type of energy healing that's been practised for thousands of years across cultures. It's entirely optional on the day. If you're curious but sceptical, that's exactly who this session is for, I'll explain what's actually happening from a science meets spirit perspective.

Question 3

Will there be any physical touch?

Accepted Answer

Reiki can be hands on or off. I will be conducting this as a hands off experience. You will be sat in your chair for the experience.

Question 4

Is this religious, or will it clash with my own beliefs?

Accepted Answer

No. This is about nervous system regulation and how your body responds to stress, not any particular belief system. Whatever you hold to be true, you're welcome here.

Question 5

I've never meditated or done anything like this before, is that a problem?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Most of the women who come to these sessions haven't either. There's nothing to get right.

Question 6

What should I wear or bring?

Accepted Answer

Wear something comfortable. We will be seated on chairs during all the guided moments, but do bring a light blanket to keep warm :)

Question 7

Do I need to believe in anything for this to work?

Accepted Answer

No. I'm not asking you to believe in energy work, just to notice what happens in your own body when you give it the chance.

Question 8

What happens after the session?

Accepted Answer

Nothing you're obliged to do. If you want to go deeper, you can book a free discovery call afterwards and I'll tell you about how we can work together.
