About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Thames Water invites you to join us at our Farmoor Reservoir site to celebrate World Bee Day. The walk will be led by our Nature Reserve Warden, Peter Philp, and we will focus on trying to find any Bees and other interesting insects around our Pinkhill and Shrike Meadows.

Please don’t forget to book (click on the ‘Reserve a spot’ button)

(Don't forget to cancel, if you can no longer attend, so someone else can take your place).

Accessibility & risks: many of the paths are surfaced or firm. However, some areas may be uneven or muddy. Please dress appropriately for the habitat and weather. Bring binoculars, if you have them, so we can have a good look at any Bees we find.

Meet in the Main Car Park at Farmoor Reservoir, Cumnor Road, Farmoor. We will then drive around the reservoir to the Nature Reserves. (Please note that you are not normally allowed to drive around the reservoir).
