About this event

AFLO Fest

Come out for our first music festival—a celebration of American music, farming, and inclusive community. This event is being hosted by A Farm Less Ordinary, a 501(c)3 non-profit in Loudoun County, VA, whose mission is to provide a welcoming community and employment to people with intellectual, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. This casual, family-friendly event will feature bluegrass and American roots music in the heart of Western Loudoun County, on our co-founders’ land in Purcellville, Virginia. Fill your belly with comfort food & drink from local food truck vendors, vineyards and breweries. Fill your soul with music. Our Growers will also be on hand to sell concessions as well as our famous AFLO swag. So bring your blanket, or some chairs, kids if you have ‘em, and we will see you there! (GATES OPEN AT 1:30PM)

For more information on what we do at A Farm Less Ordinary, check out our website or our Facebook page!

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring kids?

Yes! Kids are welcome to this family friendly event. Kids under 10 are free.

Can I bring my pets?

Sorry, but this is a humans only event.

Will the event be held if it rains?

The event will go on under manageable rain. If there is a risk of lightening or a storm, the event will be canceled. Ticketholders will be able to receive a full refund (minus any Eventbrite fees) or donating the cost of their ticket towards A Farm Less Ordinary, a 501(c) registered non-.

Is this a wheelchair friendly event?

The event will be held outdoors on mowed grass. The terrain may be uneven, in parts. The driveway cutting through the property is gravel. Much of the land is on a slight slope. As long as the wheelchair is capable of navigating all of this, the event could be considered wheelchair friend-enough.

Can I bring my own food and beverages to the event?

No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted at the event. While you may bring your own food and other beverages, we would be grateful if you would consider purchasing concessions from our Growers (this is a fundraiser, after all), and from the food truck vendors on site.

When should we arrive?

The gate opens at 1:30pm. You can park onsite.

What kind of food can I purchase on site?

Local food trucks include Bomburger (meat/veg burgers, chicken sandwiches) Zells Kitchen (tacos, quesadillas), Moo Thru (ice cream), and the Frothy Mug (coffee drinks and baked goods). Our Growers will also sell chips, candy, and sodas.
