CKA: Observation & Assessment

This class expands on information and concepts from the introduction class titled "Observation & Assessment: What, Why and How" class by diving further into interpreting the data. Additionally we will discuss conducting effective parent interviews and take a closer look at the various assessment tools.

Training Objectives:

1 . Identify characteristics of effective assessments in ECE setting.

2 . Describe ways to interpret assessment data.

3 . List indicators of effective parent interviews.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. Childcare is not provided during class times. Additionally, it is Nevada Registry policy that participants who arrive 15 minutes late cannot receive Nevada Registry credit for the class.
