About this event

Rosemary M. Magee 82PhD and Clint Fluker 17PhD have a lot in common: they each received their PhDs from Emory (35 years apart!); they both previously worked in the Rose Library – Magee as library director, Fluker as curator of African American Collections; and they love the libraries and the archives! Come hear Rosemary (now retired) and Clint (now senior director of Culture, Community, and Partner Engagement for Emory Libraries and the Michael C. Carlos Museum) share tales about their adventures in the archives – what discoveries they’ve made and new understandings they’ve experienced as archival researchers and exhibit curators.

Following the program, enjoy a reception while mingling with fellow alumni and library friends and exploring our newly opened exhibit: “At the Crossroads with Benny Andrews, Flannery O’Connor, and Alice Walker.” Rosemary Magee is one of the five exhibit curators, with special expertise in Flannery O’Connor.
