Add flair and prolong the wear of your favorite clothes using a needle and thread, scraps of fabric, and your imagination to create your own unique style! Morgan Hill artist Geri Patterson-Kutras will teach you several emboidery techniques including Japanese Boro & Sashiko stitching paired with running stitches, applique, and fabric patches that you can use to embellish your clothing. This is the perfect class to jumpstart your creative fashion journey!


Children must be accompanied by their parents/ guardian (18+) at the Gallery. Drop-off is not permitted.

About the Artist:

Geri Patterson-Kutras is an accomplished fiber artist, art quilter, teacher and lecturer. Her work has been shown in regional, national and international shows and expositions. Geri's love of hand stitching based on the art and philosophy of Japanese Boro and Sashiko stitching, has inspired her to use scraps of cloth and stitching to lively embellish clothing, create beautiful hand bags and art quilts.
