A CONVERSATION WITH ANDRÉ ACIMAN

NYC Parks' Public Programs Recreation Division hosts recreational programs and events for the public. Our mission is to enable all New Yorkers to lead physically active and intellectually stimulating lives through sports, fitness, outdoor adventure, technology, education and the arts.

Join us for a reading and Q&A with André Aciman. He is the author of the acclaimed novel Call Me by Your Name, the story of the romantic relationship between Elio, a precocious 17-year-old, and Oliver, a 24-year-old graduate student. The New York Times called it “a love letter…an exceptionally beautiful book.” It is now a film and winner of the 2018 Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Aciman, a professor at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, is a memoirist, essayist, novelist, and scholar of 17th century literature.
If you want to get your book signed, please bring it with you. There will be no books available for purchase on site.
