In recent years, scholars have analyzed new research about the well-being of boys and young men, including studies suggesting that they are struggling academically and economically, experiencing a sense of disconnection and uncertainty, and regressing in attitudes toward gender equality. The 2024 election results further intensified this debate. Public opinion expert Tresa Undem will discuss insights from her in-depth interviews with young men to diagnose the problem coherently and pave a path forward.
