A Clearing Conversation

The Political Healers Project provides training and political education events, as well as healing justice, elections and direct action training opportunities to individuals and groups interested in making change in their communities, at the intersection of political engaging and healing.

Come learn how to have challenging, restorative conversations -- with others AND with yourself!

<p>Life is challenging!! Often we are presented with circumstances and situations, from the simple to the mundane, in which we may not know which direction to take or which decision to make, or circumstances and situations with others that challenge us to the point of leaving us feeling blocked or confused in that relationship. Many of us are conditioned to avoid conflict, even if it means relinquishing relationships or other support structures that we need. This session will provide you with a set of skills that will make addressing conflict so much more rewarding than avoiding it. </p><p>A Clearing Conversation is an opportunity to clear all of the thoughts, ideas, and judgements that clutter your mind and make you unclear and confused. In a clearing conversation you get to observe and notice yourself, ask questions of yourself, and get consciously honest with yourself. You begin to see ways in which your unclarity blocks you from moving forward in life.  A clearing conversation can be had to clear an emotional upset in the moment or an issue that has been haunting an individual, group, or community for years. As a result of a clearing conversation: you are 100% present in your life; you experience freedom and aliveness in making decisions; and you have an ability to respond to life's challenges with ease. </p><p>Lorraine “Dr. Rain" Warren has been facilitating clearing conversations for several decades with individuals and communities. It is also a practice that she incorporates into her daily life.</p>

<h2>About the Facilitator/Political Healer: </h2><h3>Lorraine &quot;Dr. Rain&quot; Warren, PhD </h3><p>We are honored to have Lorraine “Dr Rain” Warren, PhD as our teacher, guide and coach in this healing practice. Dr. Rain has studied, worked, and traveled to over 100 countries working with corporate, academic, government, education and law-enforcement entities as an educator and facilitator in transformation, cultural competency, and leadership. She has been honored with several service and humanitarian awards such as the Legacy International Humanitarian Award in acknowledgement of having directly impacted lives of over 34,000 youth and the Josephine “Scout” Wollman Fuller Award, by Psychologists for Social Responsibility, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the advancement of peace and social justice. </p><p><a href="https://rainwarrenphd.com/about/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Learn more...</strong></a></p><p></p>
