We will provide all necessary tools and supplies for the landscaping tasks. However, if you have your own gardening gloves, feel free to bring them! We also recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, as well as sturdy shoes for outdoor work.

Yes! A Broader Green Day of Service is a great opportunity for families to get involved in community efforts and environmental education. We encourage families with children to join in the fun. There will be age-appropriate activities available for younger participants.

What should I bring to the event?

We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work, and sunscreen. Don’t forget your enthusiasm and a desire to help improve the community!

Will food and drinks be provided?

Yes! We will kick off the day with refreshments and invite participants to hang around until the end to join us at a local restaurants for more food and drinks.

How will the event support the North Broad Renaissance (NBR) program?

The day of service is a key part of raising awareness about the NBR’s ongoing maintenance and landscaping program. Volunteers will help beautify the corridor, which contributes to the long-term efforts to improve the overall quality of life along North Broad Street.

Is there parking available?

Street parking is available in the area. The site is also easily accessible by the Broad Street Line.

Can I still participate if I’m not able to attend in person?
