A Boy and His Dream Foundation invites you to an unforgettable evening from 6-9 PM, filled with specialty cocktails and passed bites, captivating guest speakers, the vibrant beats of a local DJ, an enticing silent auction, and abundant networking opportunities. Join us as we come together to raise crucial funds for the youth of our community through A Boy and His Dream Foundation. All funds will go towards ABHD's Chicago Mentoring Program. This impactful event is where every connection made and every donation placed contributes to shaping brighter futures for the next generation.

What sets our Foundation apart is the fact that President, Sunny Akhigbe, is someone who has lived, walked, and experienced the devastation of opposition, adversity and a troubled beginning. Through his life experience, Sunny is now able to identify with others firsthand and bring solutions to their problems.

Co-founders, Diana Bridges and Sunny, have created programs that will generate change in the youth who are our leaders of tomorrow. The mission is to provide them positive options and to speak to them through live presentations, without sugar-coating life's challenges; to show by example, when thrown a difficult situation; and how to overcome and make the best decision for a great outcome. Additionally, the foundation's Learn-to-Dream Scholarship Program keeps at-risk students pursuing higher education by providing funding towards college tuition and books.
