Welcome to A Beginners Guide to Mushroom Foraging! Join us at the Science and Technology Center on the campus of PennWest Clarion on October 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM. Learn how to identify different types of mushrooms, when and where to find them, and which ones are safe to eat. The presenter, Espo Wilcox, is the founder of the PA Mushroom Company and has a deep knowledge of mushrooms, both wild and cultivated. This presentation will help beginners build their confidence to safely and sustainably forage for wild mushrooms. The presentation is free and hosted by Seneca Rocks Audubon.
