About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Calling all poets, storytellers, and creatives: come together to weave tales of the coast, where the land and the sea meet in delicate balance! We're inviting you to share and listen to stories of our ever changing shoreline, of extreme weather, rising tides, and the shifting sands beneath our feet. Free food and refreshments provided!

We want to hear your personal narratives, whether they reflect the quiet rhythm of the waves or the sudden roar of a storm. Share how the tides of climate change have reshaped your world, from the beaches that once held your footprints to the homes that now face the encroaching sea. What does the ocean mean to you, and why must we protect it?

Stories should be around 5 minutes long or shorter. If you are interested in sharing a story please fill out this FORM: https://forms.gle/bzQwdHxK9xd2Q6838

Through your words, let’s honor the past, confront the present, and imagine a future where the shoreline endures. The ocean is calling—will you answer?

Raffle: All story tellers will be entered into a raffle for three $50 gift cards to a local book store.

A select few stories will be showcased in a special exhibition at the end of the summer and have their work published in a Save the Harbor story collection.

Everyone is welcome including first time story tellers!
