9th Annual Who is Jay? Mental Health Symposium

Join us for the 9th Annual Who is Jay? Mental Health Symposium, a thought-provoking event aimed at creating awareness and understanding about mental health. Presentations are planned to offer topics and information beneficial to both professionals working with adults and adolescents and community members with a general interest in learning more about mental health.

Admission/registration includes the full day of presentations and speakers, parking at the Ocean Center, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments.

The event features keynote presentations by Gaelin Elmore (keynote speaker, trainer and belonging advocate) and Mark Henick (suicide attempt survivor, mental health advocate, and Principal and CEO of Strategic Mental Health Solutions).

Frequently asked questions

Where do we park? Is there a fee to park?

All attendees are required to park in the parking garage. The cost is included with your registration and you will receive a validation ticket at event check-in. NOTE: If you park anywhere other than the garage the validation will not work and you will be required to pay.

Can you register at the door?

No. You must pre-register for the event.

Where do we enter?

Please enter through the glass doors at the east entrance to the facility (the entrance that faces A1A). Check-in will be set up in the lobby.

Do we need an actual ticket or barcode?

No. Simply provide your name at check-in.

Is there a dress code or recommended attire for the symposium?

Attendees are encouraged to dress in business casual or professional attire. Comfortable shoes are recommended since there is a lot of walking between the ballroom and breakout sessions. Also, if you easily get cold please bring a sweater or jacket (most conference venues tend to be cold).

How can I get a "Who is Jay?" shirt?

Orders for Who is Jay? shirts will be taken at the event information table (located in the lobby outside the ballroom). Payments are expected at the time of order and shirts should be ready within three weeks from the event.

How do I become a sponsor or vendor?

Sponsor and vendor information can be found at www.WhoisJay.org. If you plan to sponsor or have a vendor table, please do not register attendees until you have received email confirmation from the Foundation which will include a discount code unique to you/your attendees.

Can I get CEUs for Attending Sessions?

If you are licensed under the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Mental Health Counseling CEUs may be available. You must sign in and provide your license number at each session in order to receive credit. Certificate of attendance available upon request.
