National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational enhancement organization that has been providing free resources and services to students and families for 25 years. Our mission is to curtail the high school dropout rate and increase degree and/or certificate enrollment among underserved, underrepresented, at risk, low resource, homeless and foster students.  Our vision is to close the gap in educational achievement, workforce, and economic disparities with the goal to end racism and racial inequality.  We provide free services to students and families, which includes holistic, comprehensive intervention, mentoring, tutoring, college and career planning, and assisting student athletes. We focus on (3) pillar areas-Achievement Gap, Workforce Gap, and Economic Disparities. We have helped over 500,000 students get into college and have helped students secure over 1 billion dollars in scholarships. 1st Annual Fresno Latino College Expo is a FREE event bringing you resources you need to get to college, careers &amp; beyond! Over 40 colleges-public, private, independent, military, and HBCUs will be on site for you to meet one on one. Some colleges will accept on the spot, waive college application fees and give away scholarships on the spot! Plus find out about MONEY $$$ for college, financial aid, learn how to fill out the DREAM ACT application. Meet with 2 year and 4 year colleges, certification programs and trade schools. Even if you are a college student looking to transfer to a 4 year college, this expo is also just for YOU. This is a great event for the whole family.Also seminars, How to Survive in College as a First Generation Student High School, Benefits of Going Out of State to College, Booming Careers, and How to Find Money for College, and get Scholarships. Students bring several copies of your official transcripts and if you have SAT and/or ACT bring those too! Save hundred$$$ on application fees. Plus, over a million dollars in schoolairships will be available!This event is for all grade levels. Para todas personas. There are also RESOURCES for college students.
