We are sisters Susannah and Lillian Calhoun, and along with our mother Diane Bigbee Calhoun, we grow cut flowers in southern Dona Ana County.Thanks to our extended growing season and diverse plantings, we grow a variety of incredibly beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage that can be picked at the farm (see our many "u-picks") and found in local grocery stores/cafes and florists' shops.

Check out all of the ways you can pick your own flowers and enjoy a beautiful day on the farm! Explore different varieties by joining each  U-Pick during the month of July.

<h3>Join us for a Wildflower U-Pick at the farm! - Fall Solstice</h3> This is a very important time for us to celebrate the present and enjoy the season change and the bounty of the farmer! We will have Golden Milk in honey rimmed glasses for you to feel refreshed while you cut fresh blooms during the sweet, morning hours of Saturday. Gift provided as well. Purchase your ticket today and on Every Thursday and Saturday PM times and flower varieties announced closer to date. Walk up and down the rows of beautiful flowers, picking blooms to fill up your vessel.Stroll and enjoy this changing of the season by spending your evening on the farm! Two hours to frolic, take photos, cut flowers, connect to nature, and see our second boutique location then leave to go tend your flowers for a happy tabletop arrangement. A few notes about this event and your visit to our farm:<ul><li>W e are a FARM! We know that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! There is a short walk between the parking lot and the event space and restrooms. Keep in mind that you may be walking on uneven ground, slick spots, and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear.</li></ul><ul><li>Remember that we are a working farm and a healthy farm means an abundance of insect life so there will be pollinators, gnats, and mosquitos. We will provide repellent for you to apply throughout your visit to fully enjoy the experience and invite you to bring your own if there are particular scents or ingredients you prefer.</li></ul><ul><li>D ogs are always welcome to our u-picks at the farm! We do ask that they be kept on a leash and that you clean up after them.</li></ul><ul><li>There will be NO ticket sales at the door. If the minimum number of tickets has not been sold, we reserve the right to cancel and refund.</li></ul><ul><li>Please read your EMAIL confirmation! That is the ONLY place our address will be published!</li></ul> Each order gets you 1 mason jar or cantarito or bucket (with the option for additional vessels) and access to rows of Sunflowers to pick as many as will fit in the vessel(s). You can share a vessel with your whole group or get multiples for your group or for yourself to fill your home with an aromatic and beautiful arrangement. Each of us who will be participating in the Event is physically fit and I know of no medical or health reasonwhy any of us should not participate in the Event.Each of us irrevocably and unconditionally releases the Esslingers, to the maximum extent allowed by law, from anyand all claims or causes of action that any of us may have against the Esslingers after using the Farm or participatingin the Event, as a result of any personal or bodily injury, emotional distress, illness, death, property damage, expenseor other damage of any nature whatsoever that any of us suffers while using the Farm or participating in the Event,including any damage caused by the negligence of any of the Esslingers.Each of us will indemnify and hold the Esslingers harmless, to the maximum extent allowed by law, from and againstany and all losses, liabilities, expenses or other damages of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by any of theEsslingers, including but not limited to attorney fees and other litigation-related expenses, as a result of (a) any andall claims or causes of action that any of the rest of us asserts against any of the Esslingers as a result of any personalor bodily injury, emotional distress, illness, death, property damage, expense or other damage that any of us sufferswhile using the Farm or participating in the Event, (b) any and all claims or causes of action that any other personasserts against any of the Esslingers as a result of any personal or bodily injury, emotional distress, illness, death,property damage, expense or other damage that any other person suffers while using the Farm or participating in theEvent that is caused by any of us, or (c) any personal or bodily injury, emotional distress, illness, death, propertydamage, expense or other damage that any of the Esslingers suffers that is caused by any of us.
