GCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization with a gallery located in Downtown Garden City. Our mission is to enrich the lives of residents in Southwest Kansas and to encourage creativitiy through the arts.We offer art exhibitions, art classes and cultural events.

Join Katy Guthrie as she teaches participants how to create their own unique book using the buttonhole stitch.

Learn how to make your own one-of-a-kind journal during this two night workshop. You will design and create your own artful covers using quality papers; you will learn the basic components of bookmaking; and finally you will learn how to bind your journal using the buttonhole stitch. No previous experience is required. All materials provided. NOV 19th &amp; 20th | 6 - 8 PM$40 ($35 members)Instructor: Katy GuthrieMUST BE 12+Location: Garden City Arts <h2>*CLASS POLICIES*</h2>*Pre-enrollment is required for all GCA art classes! Walk-ins are welcome if there are available spots; however, you are NOT guaranteed a spot.*Garden City Arts requires payment upon enrollment for all of our classes. To save your spot in a class you can either pay online or contact the gallery to arrange payment. If you are a Garden City Arts member and you are paying online, please enter code: GCA upon check out to receive your discount.*CANCELLATION POLICY: Garden City Arts requires a 48-hour cancellation notice prior to the start of class via phone or email for all of our classes. Credit or a refund of the class fee will only be issued if the gallery receives the cancellation notification 48 hours prior to the class.
