Join us at the DGC Sprouts Marvelous Monarch Migration event!Get ready to take an exciting learning adventure with the DGC Sprouts as they explore everything about majestic monarch butterflies. This event is perfect for nature lovers of all ages, especially the little ones!You probably know about the amazing life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly, but are you curious to learn more?Do you know about the amazing Monarch butterfly migration? Our guides will explain their incredible flight.Did you know that most monarchs usually only live a few weeks, but that the super monarchs that are in our neighborhoods in September will live for eight months? Learn why.The learning will include fun activities, games, and crafts for everyone to enjoy. There will also be some hands-on learning in our new Monarch Garden at St. John Lutheran Church. Don't miss out on this educational and entertaining experience!Our guides on this journey enjoy teaching others about these incredible butterflies. They have experience hand raising them and can also coach us on planting the best gardens for them.The Darien Garden Club has several members who are experts on Monarch metamorphosis and Monarch migration and will be on hand to share their knowledge and guide the families in learning about the Marvelous Monarch.Mark your calendars and spread the word to your friends and family.
