Learn the cyanotype photographic printing process to create vibrant indigo blue prints on paper using sunlight! With artist Shelby Graham from the MAH exhibition “Of Love and Revelation: Learning Photography from the Land.”This workshop will provide an introduction to the technique of cyanotype printing. Join us as we create 2–3 one-of-a-kind prints on paper.Students can bring their own plants, botanicals, and translucent flowers or any interesting items to print, or use the plants provided. All other materials will be included.Beginners and all levels welcome, suitable for ages 10 and up.Shelby Graham has a 40-year career as an educator and conceptual photographer. Her work explores the entangled relationships between humans and our environment through surreal portraits of plants, stones, insects, seaweed, and plastic.
