Bellevue Discovery is a non-profit preschool for highly capable children. With a 1:4 teacher-child ratio, our caring and experienced teachersvalue each child, build a community of learners, and differentiate class activities to meet each child’s needs.The most important thing for preschoolers is to feel safe and loved. Our Teaching Team and Early Childhood Specialists find joy in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children will grow and thrive. Since 2007, Bellevue Discovery Preschool has focused on social-emotional development, supporting executive function and kindergarten readiness skills, and helping young children build friendships. Our teachers and families work together to surround our preschoolers with challenge, enrichment, and love.Highly capable children have a different way of thinking:  they need less repetition, love to learn, and are fascinated by complexity. Following best practices in gifted education, Bellevue Discovery offers an Inquiry Learning curriculum, combining play-based exploration, skill-based instruction, and in-depth project-based learning.88% of Bellevue Discovery’s alumni students have moved on to gifted programs.

<p>Join us for a tour of Bellevue Discovery Preschool! You will have a chance to talk with our Preschool and Admissions Director and Early Childhood Specialist and to observe our fabulous school in action.</p><p>Please note that this is an adults only event and has limited numbers available for each tour. One ticket per person. Our application deadline for the 2025-2026 school year is February 14, 2025.</p>
