In celebration of International Women's Day, please join us for a panel discussion co-hosted by UCL's Sunny Bains and INSEEC U's Christina Bartholomew. Our distinguished panelists will be offering their technological, social, financial and legal perspectives on the future of cities. When only 17% of the UK's technology employees are female, less than a quarter of women make up the STEM workforce, and less than 20% of UK entrepreneurial funding goes to female founders, how can we truly design a gender-inclusive future? Anna Bacciarelli is a Researcher and Adviser at Amnesty International, where she leads policy and research on artificial intelligence and big data. She advocates for the protection of human rights in the development and use of new technologies from governments and tech companies alike. Her current focus is facial recognition and biometric surveillance systems.Ayesha Iqbal is an experienced infrastructure-focused private equity professional with diverse investment experience. She is currently focused on investments in early stage urban innovations addressing energy transition, sustainable infrastructure and smart cities. Her new initiative, InfraCity Fund, will focus on UrbanTech enabling future-fit cities. Ayesha is a MBA, CFA charterholder, and a Sloan Fellow from London Business School.Donna Frosco is a Partner at Dunnington Bartholow &amp; Miller LLP. She is a member of Dunnington’s Intellectual Property, Advertising, Art and Fashion Law, International, and Litigation &amp; Arbitration practice areas and co-head of the Trademark and Brand Development Group. Ms. Frosco advises domestic and international clients ranging from start-ups and individual entrepreneurs to multinational companies on American legal issues relating to licensing, transactions, general business and litigation/dispute resolution.
