Is there parking?

Channelside Parking located at 45 Binford Street charges a flat rate of $5. This is a 2 minute walk from the kayaking dock, 7 minute walk from the Boston Children's Museum, and 13 minute walk to the tall ship dock. There is limited street parking in the area. Most garage parking is expensive.

What is Fort Point Channel?

Fort Point Channel is a maritime channel that feeds into Boston Harbor. At its south end, the channel once widened into South Bay, from which the Roxbury Canal continued southwest where the Massachusetts Avenue Connector is now. The Boston Tea Party occurred at its northern end.

Between 10am and 3:30pm, there will be free shuttle service running  from the Roxbury and Grove Hall branches of the Boston Public Library. The shuttle will drop off and pick up passengers at the Boston Children's Museum. Details shared after registration.

From Nubian Square, take the SL4 to South Station. After departing the bus walk about 10 minutes: Left onto Atlantic Ave, right onto Summer St, go over the bridge, you will see the Hood milk bottle. Take a left and find us at the tent to the left of the Children Museum entrance. (See map.)

Desde Nubian Square, tome la SL4 hasta la estación Sur. Camine 10 minutos: izquierda en Atlantic Ave, derecha en Summer St, cruce el puente, verá la botella de leche Hood. Gire a la izquierda y encuéntranos junto al Children's Museum. (Ver mapa).

At Andrew Station take the Red Line to South Station. Walk 10 minutes: Left onto Atlantic Ave, right onto Summer St, go over the bridge to the Hood milk bottle. Take a left. Find us to the left of the Children Museum entrance.
