Enventure San Antonio is a student-led non-profit that promotes the advancement of biomedical innovations in San Antonio.Our goal is to foster a community by bringing students and companies together, exposing thesestudents to non-traditional career options, nurturing interprofessional networking and promoting thedevelopment of entrepreneurial drive.To achieve these goals, we offer students the opportunity to discover alternative careers directly frompioneers in the SA community by networking with the local bioscience ecosystem. Further, we providepractical learning experiences, such as workshops and training programs, which allow students to applytheir problem-solving skills to real-world projects presented by local biotech partners.We would like you to spread the word that San Antonio will become an emerging biotech hub. Yourcollaboration and support would be invaluable to advancing EnventureSA’s goal of building a communityof scientific pioneers here in San Antonio.

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">While the prospect of a career in academia attracts several people, many others look at other avenues for their post-graduation careers. However, the reality of the biomedical industry and its job opportunities often remain an unknown for too many graduate students. The “Inspire” Seminar Series is a unique opportunity to explore the reality of the biomedical industry from people directly involved in it. Each talk includes a guest speaker, and it is specifically designed to encourage active discussion between them and the audience. This gives the opportunity for participating students to access relevant insights and personal experiences directly from professionals in the biomedical industry. At the same time, since many of the guests were or still are also involved in academia, the “Inspire” seminar series can help students interested in pursuing an academic career as well. So if you think that the path ahead of you is still not clear, or if you are just curious about what is out there for you, come to EnventureSA’s “Inspire” Seminar Series and ask the experts!</P>
