Join us at the National Civil Rights Museum to watch a power film about solutions for the climate crisis in Black and Brown communities.

<h3>Join us for a night of networking, refreshments, and a powerful discussion on how we can achieve climate justice for Memphis.</h3><p>Home to the world’s largest naval base, Norfolk, Virginia is sinking. It is more vulnerable than even New Orleans. The insufficient flood walls end where a housing project and a historic African American community begins. <strong><strong>Underwater Projects</strong></strong> mixes animation with live action to profile the area’s local leaders as they rush to create climate resilience plans to face an uncertain future. The film features narration by comedian Wanda Sykes and is co-directed by Liz Havstad and dream hampton. Join us on Friday, August 23rd at the National Civil Rights Museum to watch and discuss this important film with the cast and crew, as well as members from the Memphis community.</p><p><strong><strong>Featured Speakers</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Rep.
