What should I bring?

Come in comfy and/or stretchy clothing and, if you'd like, a water bottle and a mat. Mats and yoga blocks will be provided if you don't have them.

How do I find the class at The Cedar Works?

Classes are held in the community room of the Cedar Works, right in the front of the building. When you arrive at the gate, email me (denisemdefelice@gmail.com) and I will come get you and escort you to the class space.

Question 3

I've never done yoga before. Can I still come?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Classes are tailored to beginners. I will be practicing along with you and providing cues on how to achieve each pose, but you can also watch me if that's easier. I will also explain how to use yoga blocks when applicable in class.

Question 4

Can I sign up for class if I'm not sure I'll be able to attend?

Accepted Answer

There is no penalty for signing up and not attending, but please only sign up if you're planning to come. Classes occasionally sell out and have a wait-list, so please be mindful of this and cancel your spot if you're unable to come!

Do I have to pay for class?

Accepted Answer

No, classes are offered completely for free! If you'd like to donate, select the "donation" ticket option; otherwise, select the "free" option.

Question 6

I have a disability. Can I still come to class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all are welcome! The space is wheelchair accessible. I also offer modifications and variations that should suit any body type and can additionally offer chair yoga pose alternatives for those who need them.
