Heather Houston is a Santa Cruz-based song leader, choral director, recording artist, and vocal empowerment coach with over 30 years of experience in uplifting hearts and building community through the power of song. Founder of the Yala Lati Women’s Choir and creator of the Sisters in Harmony Retreats, Heather leads transformative singing experiences both in person and online, including at venues like Esalen, Sivananda Bahamas, and 1440 Multiversity. Her music, rooted in themes of healing, unity, and connection with nature, is sung by communities worldwide and can be found in her online song library and on all major streaming platforms.

Please inquire at the intro circle.</p><h3><br></h3><h3><strong><strong>About the Class and Series:</strong></strong></h3><ul><li>Classes are held in an easy to follow, call and repeat style. We use the oral tradition of singing. No need to read sheet music.</li><li>Each week builds upon the last, refining our blend and harmonies and deepening our heart connection with the songs and with each other.</li><li>You will learn basic vocal technique, how to trust your own voice, and how to harmonize and blend with the group.</li><li>You will be invited to sing your prayers, intentions, griefs, gratitudes, and praises.</li><li>This weaving of vocal vibration, deep intention, and radiant joy, shared by a sacred community of women is the most powerful form of prayer we know to manifest our dreams and transform our lives!</li></ul><h3><br></h3><h3><strong><strong>What Else:</strong></strong></h3><p><br></p><ul><li>We will be sitting in chairs and on cushions, AND be standing and dancing.</li><li>Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in.</li><li>Please bring a water bottle.</li><li>Bring layers and a sun hat - you never know with the weather here.</li><li>Please bring and item for the altar that represents an area of your life that needs some holding.
