The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art is the only dedicated LGBTQIA+ art museum in the world with a mission to exhibit and preserve LGBTQIA+ art and foster the artists who create it.

A series of queer salons, both formal and informal, activate the organizing space in andrea geyers ‘a promise of lightning.’

*Please note: this event has been rescheduled to Sunday, January 12, 4–6pm*In the framework of a promise of lightning, this salon series offers the exhibitions meeting area in service of queer collectives, organizations, friends and individuals to gather and discuss queer issues and ideas in art, public health, and organizing, following from the tradition of literary and ideological movements of the 17th and 18th centuries. <h5>Accessibility</h5>Located at 26 Wooster Street, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art strives to provide a welcoming environment to all visitors. Five external steps lead to our entrance doors: a wheelchair lift is available. All galleries are wheelchair-accessible, and a single-occupancy accessible restroom is located behind the visitor services desk: all restrooms are gender-neutral.
