<h4>Presented by Marian Tanofsky-Kraff, PhD</h4><p><em><em>Uniformed Services University</em></em></p><p><a href="https://childmind.org/bio/marian-tanofsky-kraff-phd/" title="https://childmind.org/bio/marian-tanofsky-kraff-phd/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marian Tanofsky-Kraff, PhD</a>, is a professor and vice chair of research in the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology and a professor of medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is also a research collaborator in the section on growth and obesity at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.</p><p><br></p><h4>About This Event</h4><p>This lecture will discuss childhood obesity and when to address concerns. It will also cover the relevance of behavioral phenotyping in overweight or obese children and adolescents, and those who are at risk for complicated weight gain. Next, the talk will discuss the body of research on pediatric “loss of control” eating and interventional approaches.
