Is there a fee to enter?

The lake charges $10 to park. Other than that the event is free. Ima is asking participants to consider raising or donating $50 towards the cause.

Can children participate?

The whole family is welcome to participate. The trail is not stroller friendly, so plan accordingly.

How far is the walk?

Accepted Answer

The course is a total of 3 miles. (1.5 miles out and back) participants are welcome to make the course longer or shorter to meet their needs. The water is nice to dunk after the lake!

Will water be provided on the course?

There will be water at the start/finish. If you need water on the trail, please take one with you.

Is this a timed event?

Accepted Answer

This is a casual and social walk for education. The event is not timed and there aren’t any awards for top finishers. We appreciate everyone who is choosing to show support!
