Make the most out of your mentor-mentee relationship

<p>Internal studies and self-reports from graduate students nationwide identify good relationships with their mentors as critical to success during graduate school and after. This workshop gives mentees techniques to improve their mentor-mentee relationship and get the most from their mentors. You will be introduced to a framework to better understand how to successfully navigate multiple phases of the mentor-mentee relationship, learn techniques to improve communication between you and your mentor, and build a flexible and diverse network of different kinds of mentors suited for different situations.</p><p>Facilitator: Ben Hansberry</p><p></p><h3>Learning Outcomes</h3><li>Identify barriers to an effective mentor-mentee relationship</li><li>Plan to create enabling contexts to get the most from your mentors</li><li>Chart a mentor map to identify different mentors to help you in different situations </li><ul><p></p></ul>
