Two-day live, online workshop with Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams that includes the youcubed summer camp curriculum and the workshop recording

Join Jo Boaler and the youcubed team ONLINE to learn how to teach our camp that has been implemented widely by educators and shown to significantly improve students’ mathematics understanding!This workshop focuses on the curriculum and teaching approach developed by youcubed that improved students’ scores on standardized mathematics tests by an average of 50% (equivalent to 2.8 years of school). A study of teachers implementing the program across the US showed a significant increase in student mathematics achievement after camp and in the following school year. The workshop content is appropriate for anyone interested in running a youcubed-inspired summer camp or using a Mathematical Mindset teaching approach during the school year. Each workshop includes:<ul><li>Opening and closing sessions with Jo Boaler</li><li>Our summer camp curriculum (available for grades K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-9) and other materials to support summer camp implementation</li><li>Two days of professional development focusing on mindset mathematics content and pedagogy</li></ul>The workshop begins at 9:00 am each day and ends at 3:00 pm each day. Participants will receive a digital credential verifying 10 Professional Development Hours (1 CEU).IMPORTANT NOTES<ul><li>We no longer accept payment by purchase order/check, registration is only available by credit card.</li><li>This workshop will only take place if minimum enrollment levels are achieved. If the workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive a refund.</li></ul>Please note that each participant must log into the workshop individually, from their own device, to be admitted to the workshop. We encourage teams of educators from the same school or district to participate in the workshop together, and we offer discounted tickets for groups of 2 or more, but to be admitted to the Zoom each team member must have a ticket associated with their name. If multiple people from your school or district are planning to attend this workshop, please create a group order using the "Get Tickets" button on this page, and add the number of people attending to your cart. You will then be prompted to provide information about the attendees during checkout, which will enable them to each be admitted individually to the workshop.All registered participants will receive an email one week before the workshop with a Zoom link and password. After the event, we will provide a recording and a link to all slides or other resources used in the workshop . This post-workshop email will be sent to all registered participants, regardless of whether they logged into the event (so even participants who aren’t able to attend the event live on the scheduled dates will still receive the recording and workshop materials).
